our neighborhood farmers market is up and running on saturdays at broadway and 35th from 9-1. i cannot tell you how happy we are to have a farmers market within walking distance! shawn and i strolled up with the girls who ate their fill of cherries and strawberries, while we got some cauliflower, fava beans, snap peas, daikon radish, and cucumber. if i hadn't just got some bread i would have picked up some up, but i didn't feel like freezing any. i also got some beautiful happy sunny flowers for the house, because well, i deserve them :)
